EMTBravo 3.0 Upgrade Project & 2009 Operating ExpensesIn the near future,we are planning to launch "EMTBravo 3.0". Both EMTBravo.com AND the EMTBravo.net forums will be upgrading to new,modern software, the "next generation" EMTBravo.This software will greatlly improve EMTBravo in many ways, and have a lot of new features that will be very useful and enjoyable for our membership. EMTBravo.com and the EMTBravo.net forums will stil retain all the features currently available, but with great enhancement. For a new feature example, the EMTBravo.net forums will be easy to access from your mobile phone.EMTBravo will also be able to intergrate into your Facebook aacount,and if you use Twitter, you'll be able to get Incident Alerts sent to your phone. This is amongst many other features.<br /><br />This comes at a cost.EMTBravo is heavily customized, and due to the large scale of the project, I have had to hire some special outside help to assist me.I will also have to take some days off of work in order to make sure the transition goes smoothly and to assist any member with using the new site. This is somewhat expensive, and I am appealing to the membership to help financially. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Although we do have advertisers, we still rely on our generous members to help fill in the gaps and help cover the numerous, expensive costs associated with running this site. Any bit helps, and we thank you for your generosity. All donations are put to use to keep this site online and free. The EMTBravo websites do not make a profit whatsoever, and ALL our staff are not compensated. We are continously attempting to raise funds so that we don't have to scrape by finacially each month, and worry about not being able to keep the site online. This fund drive is critical to the continued operation of EMTBravo.net. Your generous donations will be put to good use keeping the site online and free, and also fund upgrades to the site to make it even better.Our goal reflects estimated basic operating expenses for the year, including the server rental which is about $300 a month.
