They look like a good purchase for Empress, especially as the cars will operate primarily in a city environment, even if it is pretty hilly.  I'd imagine this less expensive alternative could also allow them to extend the service life of their SUV's and have them available for use when the snow and ice really start flying.

Exactly.

There are a number of employees that have been with Empress over 10 years and over 20 years, which is very unusual for a commercial ambulance company. It shows the dedication to the company these employees have and shows that Empress values it's employees.

Off the top of my head.....

Lockwood, Rothschild, Steinkraus, Molina, Harbach, Ulrich, Rivera, Cutoneilli, and Harvey are some of the more senior medics.

Figueroa, Valera, Rovida, Delgado, Behrens, and Nunez are some of the more senior EMT's.

Plus you have everyone in Admin, like Daryn (Director Of Ops), Scott (Assistant Director Of Ops), Sheri (QA), Miriam and Michelle (Customer Service) to name a few, plus the Minervas..all of which are still very active...and the supervisors like Cekuta and Jeffries. (And all promoted from within)

And Bill still has the same schedule as when you worked Medic 30/33 on Thursdays.

And a ton of members have gone straight from Empress into being Doctors, PA's, Nurses, Police Officers, Firefighter, Heads of EMS systems, Airliner pilots, Dispatchers, Archery Pros, etc all across the country and world.
