Details: B/C-2 arrived on scene with fire in the basement of a two story middle of the row dwelling, placed two engines and two ladders in service. Requested the box filled out. Command received reports of a firefighter trapped in the basement. Placed all hands in service and additional medics to the scene.
A firefighter was transported to the hospital in grave condition and died at the hospital. Several other firefighters suffered injuries.
Initial reports are a the firefighter is 36 year old female firefighter from Engine-64. She was a 11 year veteran of the department.
