Re-located Coldeham firehouse: Bullville (Tanker) & Maybrook (Engine)

Description: 2nd Alarm Structure Fire

1130hrs-OC911 alerting Coldenham; reported structure fire, heavy smoke in the area 235 Colden Hill Rd.

1133hrs-Coldenham Car-2 on scene with a working fire, requesting an Engine, Tanker and FAST and a re-sound for a working structure fire.

1135hrs-Coldenham Command now requesting OC911 to transmit a full 2nd Alarm and a tanker task force, but replace City of Newburgh FAST for Vails Gate's FAST.

1137hrs-OC911 alerting Vails Gate; their FAST to the scene in Coldenham.

1138hrs-OC911 alerting Montgomery & Walden; Montgomery (1) Engine & Walden (1) Tanker to stand by at Coldenhams Firehouse.

1141hrs-Vails Gate R480 and the FAST en-route.

1146hrs-Command to OC911 with an Urgent, requesting EMS to the scene.

1150hrs-OC911 conducting 10 minute status check. Command advising 1 1/2 story, still have heavy fire, interior crews operating.

- OC911 advising Command that all of his 2nd Alarm companies have been dispatched as well as his Tanker Task Force companies, Mobile Life EMS also en-route.

1155hrs-36-12 with an additional M/A request; Good-Will w/(1) Engine to the scene.

1156hrs-Vails Gate Car-2, R480 & the FAST on scene.

- 36-12 requesting Central Hudson to the scene for a power cut.

1157hrs-Plattekill Tanker on scene.

1200hrs-Good-Will Engine responding.

1201hrs-OC911 re-sounding Walden; M/A to stand-by at Coldenhams firehouse.

1202hrs-OC911 re-sounding Orange Lake for the additional M/A; (1) Engine & (1) Rescue to the scene.

1203hrs-36-12 inquiring if EMS is en-route, OC911 advising the MLSS is responding.

- 36-12 with an additional request; MLSS SORT to the scene. OC911 advising that the MLSS SORT is also responding.

1205hrs-OC911 conducting 20 minute status check. Command advising they still have heavy fire with multiple lines in operation.

1207hrs-OC911 alerting Maybrook; request (1) Engine to stand-by Coldenhams firehouse.

- Good-Will E311 on scene.

1209hrs-OC911 sounding the all-call for (2) Fire Investigators to the scene.

- Maybrook Engine re-locating to Coldenham.

1210hrs-36-12 requesting Campbell Hall to man their own station and stand-by with (1) Engine & (1) Rescue.

1211hrs-OC911 alerting Campbell Hall to stand by in quarters.

1212hrs-36-12 requesting that the stand-by units in Coldenham also cover calls in Montgomery.

1214hrs-36-12 requesting (1) Engine from Washingtonville to re-locate to Maybrooks firehouse.

- OC911 alerting Washingtonville for the M/A request.

1215hrs-36-12 requesting Cronomer Valley with (1) Engine and manpower to the scene.

- OC911 alerting Cronomer Valley for the M/A request.

1216hrs-Cronomer Valley Car-3 and Engine(?) responding.

1217hrs-OC911 advising 36-12 that Washingtonville is unable to fulfill the M/A request.

- 36-12 advising OC911 to go to the next available.

1219hrs-OC911 alerting Goshen; (1) Engine to re-locate to Maybrooks firehouse.

1220hrs-OC911 conducting the 30-minute status check. 36-12 advisng they still have active fire with several lines in operation.

1227hrs-Goshen declining the M/A request, unable to crew.

- OC911 alerting Mechanicstown; (1) Engine to re-locate to Maybrooks firehouse.

1228hrs-OC911 sounding the All-Call for Fire Investigators; (1) additional FI requested.

- 36-12 requesting (1) Engine from Pine Bush to re-locate to Montgomery's Firehouse.

1229hrs-OC911 alerting Pine Bush; (1) Engine to re-locate to the Montgomery Firehouse for stand-by.

1230hrs-Mechanicstown E118 re-locating to Maybrook's firehouse.

1232hrs-36-12 advising that Winona Lake is already on automatic response for Orange Lake, requesting they also be on automatic response for Good-Will.

1234hrs-OC911 re-sounding Pine Bush; additional manpower is needed for the M/A call.

1236hrs-Pine Bush E228 re-locating to Montgomery.

1239hrs-OC911 conducting a status check. 36-12 advisng fire is knocked down, extensive overhaul underway.

1241hrs-36-12 inquiring the status of the Fire Investigators. OC911 advising they have (1) FI en-route, unable to raise a 2nd.

1242hrs-OC911 re-sounding the All-Call for an additional FI to Coldenham.

1250hrs-OC911 conducting a status check. 36-12 advising fire is knocked down, companies overhauling, 911 can discontinue the status checks.

1252hrs-36-109 (FI) on the scene. OC911 advising they were unable to raise a 2nd FI.

1254hrs-36-12 advising that the Tankers from Ulster County (Wallkill and Plattekill) have been released.

1258hrs-Mechiancstown E118 out at Maybrook for S/B and Pine Bush E228 out at Montgomery for S/B.

1301hrs-Vails Gate Car-2 advising that the FAST has been released, Car-2 and R480 in service, returning.

1318hrs-Montgomery Engine released and returning.

*There is a LOT of radio traffic, trying my best to keep up.

**Units using several FG channels (ops), (water source), etc
