Description: Crews excavating to repair a fire hydrant struck and ruptured a gas main next to a school for young disabled children. Precautionary evacuations of 67 students, 35 of which needing wheelchair buses, using special call Tarrytown School district buses to the former Marymount College. FD units assisted with mitigating gas line issues, evacuation, and transport/traffic logistics.
