It has been 8 months since Ladder 57 signed on radio. However; we are pleased to announce that she has found a new home with Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. Sleepy Hollow is a village in the town of Mount Pleasant in Westchester County, New York. The village is located on the east bank of the Hudson River, about 30 miles north of New York City. Ladder 57 will serve as a temporary piece for them until they are able to purchase a new aerial in a couple of years.

Didn't the ladder before the Sutphen, the Seagrave rearmount, have the same problem where the bottom rotted out? Hope they Line-X the crap out of the bottom of this truck. I wonder why this would be an issue twice for them?
