  1. MLSS has their main reporting station in the City of Kingston (14) with anywhere between 2 (in the very early morning) to 8 crews on at a time (mostly ALS ambulances, one or two BLS transport trucks, and occasionally a fly-car medic) there is a posting station in the Town of Ulster (16) that is staffed with a truck out of Kingston as needed. There is a reporting station in Rosendale (15), that is staffed 24/7 with one ALS truck and backfilled as needed. There is a posting station in Modena (13) that is usually filled from Newburgh (1) , a reporting station in Highland (18) at the firehouse that has two ALS trucks 24/7, and a posting station on 299 in Lloyd (17) that filled as the system allows. Finally there is a BLS truck in Marlborough (19) that is staffed 12 hours a day 7 days a week and 911 dedicated, ALS is usually sent from either 18 or 1. Thats about it for Ulster county.

  3. yea i read through that article, however i was wondering if anyone knew specifically which year each pager first hit the market. I was unable to find what i was looking for through my own searching. I know there has to be someone out there who knows. But thanks again for the link
  4. Hello all, i was just wondering about the history of Minitor pagers. Specifically which year they all came out, and also what years the old bricks came out. Thanks everyone
  5. I have contacted Alamo, NDP, and Transcare looking for work as an EMT, however NDP said they are in a freeze while the other two said that they need 3-5 years of driving experience per their insurance. I received my license in sept of 07 and have no infractions or accidents on my record whatsoever. I was wondering if MLSS or any other ems service near by would hire me as a non-driver EMT, or wouldn't have a problem with my lack of driving experience. thanks in advance
  6. everyone lets take one second to think about this LDH over the car ordeal. 20,000$ car (at the most) 400,000 house (give or take) which is more important all i know from what i saw was that car maybe had a few scratches on it. not that big of deal considering how great of a stop this fire was. also look where the car is parked. i would bet money that that car belongs to the homeowner who has more bigger thigns to worry about than a few scratches on his car well done WFD WELL DONE
  7. i have been out of the country for the last week and have not heard anything. but bill, i cannot wait to see the remaining 230 pictures you've got stored. so far the only ones that im are shots of me standing around moving shopping carts or talking to other FF's and its really hard to impress people when you are just standing there. LOL cant wait to see the remaining shots natw
  8. yea i heard that they will be demolishing the building shortly. it has been deemed structurally unsafe by town, and private engeneers, and therefore the investigation into the cause of the fire cannot continue because noone can enter the buliding. looks like if someone set it they will get away with it. (my opinion) also the liquor store is moving to a temp. location elsewhere b/c it has also been deemed a structurally unsafe building as well. its kinda suspicious though, it catches on fire and 12 hours later a heavy duty fence is up and there are caterpillars prepareing to take it down. idk just how i feel
  9. hey man, awesome pic, i was there with lagrange working all night. cant wait to see all the pics you took, they are always great shots and i cant wait. upload them soon please
