  2. Last I knew it did
  3. That's it alright. Thanks! I will look a little more with this better info!!!
  4. Quite a few years ago there was an article published about the staggering amount of fire apparatus on Long Island, and how it compared (in numbers) to 3 major cities, FDNY, LAFD, and one more I cannot think of, off the top of my head. Is it published online somewhere anymore, I cannot find it?
  5. Also consider it for what purpose you are putting a signature on it. If it is in a non-descript area, it could easily be cropped out and re-used. For demo purposes, I would recommend putting it somewhere that it partially gets in the way, and if someone REALLY wants a good copy, have to contact the original person direct. That or a good Watermark software.
  6. Does anyone know what sort of compensation they offer for EMT-B or Dispatcher? I didn't see anything in regards to that on their site. I know a lot of places have different rates based on experience, but does anyone have any ballpark figures? Can post here if you want, or feel free to PM me.
  7. In having previous experiences with similar situations, I was told that it was just the dye changing color. This is also minor change, not a large area, or concentrated 'damage' to one area. As alsfirefighter said, still could not hurt to contact Scott direct, or, your distributor for your product. https://www.scottsafety.com/en/us/Pages/ContactUs.aspx
  8. Seems to me that most standard CFR/ARFF trucks are top-heavy.
  9. Disgraceful.... I have never been a fan of Gov. Christie or his policies since Day 1. He just doesn't give a crap. I am having trouble finding one video I saw a couple months ago as he tried to dance around questions regarding salary cuts, and questioning him about cutting his own, or his staff's salaries. Really kind of summed it up for me.
  10. The other things aside from information overload, is the over-reliance on the technology to compensate for inability to actually see. I have seen it too many times already with TIC's. People walk/crawl around with them almost attached to their faces, and almost solely rely on that to navigate/work. I can see people become TOO reliant on this type of a system they will lose/forget their other senses (including common sense) on how to read and interpret their surroundings. I do like the concept, I just think your average structural fire may have a bit too much going on to properly use all the functions/features available.
  11. Its not that they are obsolete, the problem is that the general fire service has become complacent.
  12. What is an unconcientous person? Unconscientious as in not guided by their conscience? Maybe that's why they ended up a victim in the first place.
