  5. For the 2008 YFD exam the written was in June of '08 and the physical was in November of '08.
  6. if you crossed filed for New Rochelle and The county, you wont get penalized for doing all 105, right?
  7. Its been a real good experience training with the last mack engine. Hope it gets fixed up nice after school is finished.
  8. Yes, FPNY had 3 stations in NYC I believe and were funded by the insurance companies. I have not heard anything about it coming back though.
  9. Its very easy. You will have no problem with it. Just run a little to prep.
  10. I believe the village of Mamaroneck engine 42 is still a canopy cab. I might have even seen one in Mt. Vernon recently also.
  11. Yea you gotta be really careful messing with the factory wiring in the new vehicles. I did installs for 2 years in emergency vehicles and unless there is a specific relay pack for your vehicle I would avoid the factory wires and install led hidaways in the lenses with a flashpack.
  12. All the ems contitions cars I rode in when I worked there were packed full of equipment. Tech bags,02 bags,backboard,KED,AED,turnouts,etc. I think they also need the storage space.
  13. Im assuming this is gonna be a ems boss's truck from the star of life decals. I know the regular fire battaions dont have the star of life on them.
  14. The boat in the pic above does not stay in the Hudson river. It can be deployed year round when needed. The other boat is Marine 1 and stays docked in the river during the summer months only as far as I know.
  15. I believe this boat will be stored on a trailer at station 8 and deployed with the crew of engine 8 when needed.
