From the news reports, the weather channel, and the politicians, you'd think that snow in the winter was some unusual event that we hadn't seen before. It's winter people ! It's GOING TO SNOW! And be COLD. That's what happens in the winter.

Really? Not from where I sit. Do I miss the fresh white blanket of snow draping the pine trees and homogenizing the landscape? NO!

Yeah, yeah. Sent my son a pic of Saturday's snow (he's in Flagler Beach/Palm Coast). He sends me back a pic of the back deck with the beach and ocean in the background. Little S@#T!

The early forecast for the first week of February has some snow but the real issue is some really scary temperatures ," when the temperatures go down the aerials go up', it never fails

According to the National Weather Service, we are supposed to get a good 5-10 inches of snow on Sunday night continuing into Monday.

Better rush out to get your milk and bread then. These are the same folks who predicted 20-30 inches last week.

Don't forget the eggs. Forcast of snow always brings on french toast syndrome. Get all the eggs, bread, and milk you can find.

High quality Chinese plastics of today are no comparison to the "low" quality American made steel shovels of years gone bye.
