Any leed is greatly apprieciated, just pm me with any info thanks guys.
  3. Anyone know the fate of NHFD's 2 ward lafrance pumpers, love to get my hands on one of them!
  4. Sometimes principal is more important............J/K! (not really)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. If they get rid of U-5 and U-34, whats the department mechanic gonna be bummin around in?
  6. whats gonna happen to the old U-5?
  7. What pierce is takin a walk? the last '87 i presume.
  8. I say we sell all the fire trucks we run and buy pick ups and mini pumpers, this way we get the best of both worlds, good fuel economy (yea right) and a real fire truck responding to calls (yea right)! look what they run upstate, in the mid west and down south, they cover hundreds of square miles, granted not as populated and the only "support vehicles" they have are their own POV's! "Oh what would we do without chiefs cars" my father used to say when he was a fire commishioner!
  9. Ill second that brother, never get rid of mine either! Best pick 'em up truck diesel engine out there!
  10. Number 1: people around here are to occupied with stuff in their cars and their little electronics to drive at all at that kind of speed. Number 2: 85 MPH is population control! J/K , Number 3: I would love to have a road around here that is 85 MPH, me being the motor head that I am!
  11. Just a quick question for all you ossining guys here, why is there a car 2331, 2332 and 2334 but no 2333? Peeked my interest after visiting lfd171's site. Thanks for your time, steve.
  12. Does anyone know what make/model this new/used rescue/pumper is? And is it safe to assume the 1981 hahn will be sold?
  13. My department nipped that one in the bud years ago when one of our chiefs used his car as a work vehicle......... persoally I think thats funny but I could see why someone would be angry with that!
  14. And I know who it is but Im not at liberty to discuss, details to follow................!
  15. O.K. I gotcha gpdexplorer, I think the 1974 ward is privatley owned according to lfd171's site on tarrytowns page but other than that all others are owned by the companies, thanks a bunch, steve.
