As of today we had to throw out the Seagrave Bids (not proper paper work and a bunch of exceptions) It looks like we will be going with Ferrara. They were the next lowest bidder, we are going out to vote to the public to spend the money. As soon as we sign the purchase order I will update. We are also going to be selling our old Lafrance Engine 91 on E-Bay this month. Keep a look out for that.

Thanks for the updates. :D

What chasis will they be on,Ferrara's Inferno,Igniter,Ultra, Spartan, HME, or other????

Also, suprising P'ville went from a Cadillac to a Ford. I would've thunk Pierce or ALF wouldve been next.

I believe it is on the Inferno chasis Alumiun cab, with a stainless steel body, stainless diamond plate, stainless wheel wells, it was spec like a NYC truck. Didn't want Pierce. We didn't want multipex wiring. To many problems with that.

We spent 16 hrs in the last two days taking the rough drawing and tweeking them to meet the spec and change what ever little stuff we wanted to or had to. Ferrara will be getting back to us with the price change on the add and deleted items in the begining of Jan. They are going to start to order the drive train and frame. Hopefully by the end of Jan should have a close to having a time when the will start to build them
