Just to let you all know, Joe came home yesterday morning. He is doing well, is up and walking around and is in very good spirits.

If anyone can beat this disease, it's Joe. I've always admired his kind and infectious spirit ever since meeting him several years ago. Although I don't get a chance to make it up to BH as often anymore, that doesn't mean I forget about friends.

I'm glad to hear that he's home, and I hope he knows that we're all here to support him anytime and with anything he needs....he's got a long road ahead of him, but he'll never be alone on it and I know he can conquer it.

Thanks to everyone who's been signing this card, Joe has been reading so your messages are getting through.......shows the community spirit and support this forum can foster......hope to see everyone at the Blood Drive a week from Monday.

Hey Joey, welcome home, its nice to hear good news. Hope everything is going well, and I hope you have a speedy recovery. I can't wait to hear 2030 and or the voice of bedvid back on the radio. Joe is back at work, He went back to work roughly a week ago,every thing went well, I have been told.

Thank god I know my self and Gina where praying for a good outcome.

Dear Fellow Firefighters and Police Officers,

I just wanted to THANK everyone for the thoughts and prayer's. They Worked!! As of right now, my surgery was a complete success and I have no traces of cancer in my body. I've returned to work this week and been active in the fire dept also. Hope to see you out there. It's been a long road, but thanks to you , I'm here. :D

Joe- I don't know you personally but i have heard many things about you from several people.

You were a great Chief during your term. I hope everything goes well.

To a fellow brother, good luck and keep being strong. My brother battled cancer for yrs. but succombed to the evil sickness, like I told him, STAY STRONG AND WE ARE HERE FOR YA!!
