No it does not. That stat is kept by our 911 dispatch but is not added to our call volume.

Yonkers 911 dispatchers entered 157784 calls into CAD "last year"...

YFD had 15220 Calls reported, those are all types of calls.

No numbers added and for S's and G's I checked the 911 call log...it says we picked up 911 103,798 times in 2008. Those include all 911 calls including payphones, hang up, calls for service, cell phone transfers from the TMC, and there are some duplicates, i.e. if 2 people anwer phone, it generates 2 911 numbers...unk reason for that.

Also includes our very good friend Mr. Decicco who called 7000 times on his own...

According to the call counter on the Lcfd website they did 234 fire calls and 572 ems calls for a total of 806 but December isn't done yet so I don't know what the total is for the whole year.

Update the final number of calls on the call counter is 896. 261 fire and 635 ems.

In 2008, the Lake Mohegan Fire District responded to a total of 2,730 runs, with 1,202 being fire/rescue related calls and 1,528 fd first response to ems calls. The Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association VAC in 2008 responded to a total of 2,560 EMS calls. Tho technically 2 seperate entities, so PIAA's are listed in both FD and VAC stat's here (approx. 300).

Now why do you have to be a smart a$$ and put " growing areas in Dutchess"?? Why cant you just say Orange, Ulster and Dutchess . You dont have to rub stuff in peoples face.

As of Dec 30, we were putting roughly 90,000 for the call number on our "PCR's" for UMDNJ. That would be City of Newark EMS. The city is only approx. 10 square miles. Don't have the official end of year number. We "little people" have to wait for the JEMS issue of city rankings (March or so?) for the official number like everyone else.
