Bedford Hills FD Starts Expansion And Modernization Project Of Firehouse

The public referendum vote passed in December 2008, the building permits have been issued, the old building has been torn down, the general contractor has been chosen, the trees have been cut down, and the ground breaking is under way!

Will there be an improved roadway marking system so our little Luther doesn't get hit again? ;)

I'm with John, I think there should at least be a rededication ceremony of the crosswalk!

Oh so THAT's where they're expanding. I was wondering where the heck they were gonna put any new structures. Didn't know they had that parcel there. And when I say "building demolished" my first thought was "wait, I just drove by there this past week - they tore down the firehouse??" :lol: Good luck. Can't wait to see the new building.
