It appears this is only a promotional opportunity only, lower right corner states only current employees may apply.

That's a little better. But not much. Still twice as much as I work now.

Has anyone heard anything further on these hires yet?

What are the steps in the Federal hiring process?

How many people applied and/or made it through?

Thanks for any help

Could they be getting more involved in EMS, given the crazy number of calls generated by the VA Campus and State Nursing Home on the Campus?

If they were starting to assume the ALS care and transport, it would really reduce the burden on CCVAC and Cortlandt ALS who respond there multiple times every day.

Has anyone that put in for this position heard anything back yet?

If so, any information on when they are looking to hire and if they would accept an expired medic who is going through the refresher training?

What the operations would be like with the medic. Like would they run an ALS engine with the FF/Medic as an additional person on the engine?

Thanks for any help
