Maybe it failed before hit the roof line? Sure looks like it was powered down or lost hydraulics with the bucket on the parapet.

Sorry guys but I too think operators error  Thanks for the title edit Seth Side note on this piece It's the 1st Pierce Dash mid mount that was delivered in 2001 to an east coast Dept back when they first came out

Glad nobody wa hurt. I wonder when the truck was last inspected/certified, not that failure can never be truly predicted.

I hope they don't expect full price of trade-in value when their new truck comes in. Lol!
