SHE has not singled herself out or asked to be singled out. She was just at work doing her job. If someone wants to post a pic of her, for whatever reason, that is their right I guess.

I counted six ladder co's o/s and nine engine's and the rescue. With all the ladder co's o/s i would think it was mor ethen a 3rd. Can some advise when this fire was. Thanks
I was the Captain on the Rescue for this job. It was on a weekend maybe 4 years ago or so. We were out and responded from McLean Ave. when it came in. Fire started in the first floor or basement and spread up pipe chases- there was heavy fire in at least two apartments on each of the four floors when we arrived. It was at least a 3rd, maybe a 4th.

Yonkers has responded outside the city for collapse rescue capability several times over the years. We have never turned down a request. Many of the career departments, particularly New Rochelle, and Fairview, Hartsdale, and Greenburgh, have been getting up to speed with collapse rescue capabilities in recent years. As to who else "carries the essential tools and wood", there may be "teams" that have lots of tools and lumber, but the problem is having adequate number of trained personnel to respond in a timely fashion and use the stuff.

R1Smokeeater, my lil' buddy...nice pics, but I am pretty sure these are technically not "rowframes"..I'm surprised noone has pointed this out yet, as some of you seem to be pretty knowledgeable...
So, a question...who knows the diff between "rowframes" and a row of frames???
Gee, this buff stuff is kind of fun!
