    Description Of Incident: 20 YOM was swinging from a rope, fell about 8 feet on the rocks, had to be recovered on the south bank via Zodiac, was moved to a stokes and hauled up a 70-85 foot hill. Personnel used several ropes, stokes, Zodiac, backboards and medical equipment to make the rescue.

    Original call for activated fire alarm, CMD on scene reporting heavy smoke condition inside building. Req. re-tone for manpower. IC then asked for 1 & 1 from Thornwood, FAST from Elmsford. I also think P'ville E260 relocated to Hawthorne and No. White E75 went to Valhalla FD.

    All FDMV units working,

    Initial request for M/A was to FDMV Sta. 3. Initial assignment was E22 (FDNR), E151 (GFD), TL3 (PMFD).

    Request from IC for 1 & 1 to scene, that brought E22 and TL3.

    Backfilled with E31 (EFD) and L1 (FFD).

    FDNR TL11 and 2302 also on location working.

    1910 hrs - Hughsonville Tanker 45-32 now requested to the scene, East Fishkill Tanker 39-34 requested to standby at North Highlands Fire Station. Fire reportedly in an autobody shop.

    1916hrs- Putnam Valley Tanker to /scene. Rombout was relocated to NHFD but then sent to scene. Glenham 1 Engine to NHFD

    WCPD on location, requested Air 1 which was down due to weather. Chappaqua units on scene stating they can handle, so MKFD units were cancelled enroute. Units being advised to respond south in the northbound lanes. All units being advised there is a major icing condition in vicinity.

    0600hrs- WCPD still on scene for accident investigation.

  22. This is in fact a 3rd alarm - so I am told. I understand it is a fire involving multiple commercial buildings.

    2303 is also manned covering the City.

    Update @01:05 - E313 returning to Yonkers, Pelham engine being requested to cover.

    E5 relocating @01:15 to Station 3.

    All Mutual Aid is clear of New Rochelle at 03:42.

    Units still operating include 2302, E21, E25, E18, TL11, L12, L14, 30A1. Other companies are back in service to cover the City.

    All of the Mutual Aid coverage units handled several additional alarms within the City of New Rochelle as well.

    It's a cold night out there - my thoughts are with you all!!!

    Fairview responded in area for explosions and possible fire, returned when realized to be NWPFD fire district.
