every year this gets under my skin, parades are meant to be fun while showing your trucks and men, trophies are great but whos to say who should win, i have nothing to hide so ill put it out here, im a member of the rescue company in port chester but year after year engines who have a combi tool win best rescue, i thought they were engines? and how do you judge fairly when my rescue responds to more calls in a yr than some rescue's or so called engine rescue's do in 3 or 4 yrs, are truck isnt as clean cause it works harder but were looked down at for that.

not to be a huge dick, but if this kinda thing bothers you maybe you're in the wrong business.......... fire trucks are made to perform and be the workhorses of public safety, if you want a glitter sparkle truck and a trophy, maybe you should look into car shows.

i hate slogans like that..... people don't care if your dept is volley or not, they want protection 24/7. that's it, and to put that on the truck is stupid, because there will be a time when that truck cant roll due to lack of manpower.... its a volley dept, it will happen.

Oh im not stating the rescue company had it. I thought a tow company might have been using it. the one under the hummer is just an example of how it can be used.

BGE (Blue giant equipment) has some kind of variant . Herkules has been the supplier for types i have used in the past.

Yes same style as an air ride suspension. They have many uses. one of which can be used to lift a vehicle. Honestly i looked at the last pic and this was the first thing that came to mind.

Which pic do you see an airbag? It kind of looks like the cone shaped bottom of a lamp post. Look closer.
