RPS system is a great system double medic really helps, I us to work in northern westchester when it was covered by A-1. They have made great strides in improve the system but money does make the difference and when towns are not willing to spend the money what can you do

As a former WEMS medic I remember times that I would be dispatched to calls in Vista and Pound rRdge and when I arrive at the seen they would of left the scene and forget to cancell the medic or it was a BLS call and they just wanted additional help or an evaluation. Good BLS is the first line. 3 medics is enough in the area

Just remember that Croton has a contract with OVAC for ALS services.

According to a recent IA it appears that a medic transported a patient in cardiac arrest with a police Tahoe. I was just curious about legal ramifications regarding this? Liability for the paramedic? Liability for the officer or agency?

The medic never made it to the scene.It was two off duty emts that were driving by the scene

Sleepy Hollow is about 3 miles away. But he should not of been driving the vehicle if he was drinking

Anyone who is veteran out there. The VA Hospital in Montrose has a Wellness program for outpatients that includes exercise programs and nutrition classes. Just contract the VA

Did Ossining pass the tax district request for OVAC? If so how many ambulance are they running now during the day and at night? Are they paid or volley? Is the TriVillage contract with Briarcliff and Croton going to be affect by this?

What can be done about a situation like this? We see it all the time throughout society and we all talk about how bad it is but what if anything can honestly be done about it.
