    Description Of Incident: Phone alarm received for smoke in the basement of 399 Prospect Place. 3 Engine and 3 Trucks responded for the box assignment due to Ladder 132 reporting to be understaffed. Ladder 132 arrived on scene and requested a 10-75 assignment for fire on the #2 floor of a 2-story 25x25 PD. 4 L/S with 3 in operation. Primary and secondary searched complete and negative.

    Description Of Incident: Two car head-on MVA. Three of the four passengers in one car were killed, all four passengers required extrication. Extrication was completed by White Plans FD/PD. Second vehicle had one occupant. All patients were transported to White Plans Hospital, survivors were then transferred to Westchester Medical Center. CPR was in progress on three of the patients once extricated, all three patients were pronounce on arrival at White Plains Hospital. Reports say that one of the vehicles was traveling on the wrong side of the road to avoid snow barriers. (Read more on LoHud, link below)

Interior attack was initiated once the main body of fire was knocked down.

    I don't (ever) post because I often feel like I have nothing to add. I have no experience other than as family. My grandfather was FDNY. My brothers were volunteers in Dutchess County.
    But I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and every one of you. As a family member, I understand the sacrifices you make, the training you make time for and the time you are away from your families, friends and other activities so you can serve your community in the most amazing way I can think of.
    I salute your bravery, your commitment and your expertise. Our communities are better places because you live, work and volunteer here.

    Description Of Incident: Working fire in a 1-story commercial automotive shop. Building exploded prior to the arrival of first due engine company Heavy fire through the roof with partial structural collapse found upon arrival.. Primary hand-line was a 2.5 stretched/operated by Captain Zaino, Lieutenant (Ex-Capt.) Greco (PFDR47), and Lieutenant Zane (Inzane). Exterior operations, from the start with 3 Tower Ladders in operation. From the pictures, it seems the fire was contained to the last couple bays with structural and smoke damage to the remaining bays/showroom. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. Good job by all FF's, glad you got home safe!
