  1. One more vote for switching from Blackberry to Android. Had the Bold, now have & love the Droid Bionic. Find I can do more with it, and also save some money since I no longer have to subscribe to the Blackberry network also. Battery life is less than the BB, but since I charge it at night (and use it for a clock) it's a moot point.


  2. The Detroit Fire Department suffered a tragic loss

    the morning of (11-15-08).

    SFF Walter Harris was killed

    when the roof of a dwelling collapsed on him and another

    firefighter Walter was a member of

    the class of March 1991 Almost having 18 years of service

    Walt was the best of the best.

    Not only did we lose a fellow

    Firefighter today, We lost a Brother, Friend, and Role Model

    for ALL young Firemen

    Senior Firefighter

    Engine 23, 6th Battalion

    (Active)

    Lived: 9/11/70 to 11/15/2008

    Served: 3/11/1991 to 11/15/2008

    Died in the line of duty.

    GREENBURGH -- The Taconic Parkway Extension/Bronx River Parkway is closed in both directions in Greenburgh near Virginia Road in the wake of a head-on accident.

    Westchester County police said the crash was expected to keep the road closed until at least 6 p.m.

    The accident occurred about 4:11 p.m.

    Two people are seriously injured, one in each car.

    Police are diverting northbound traffic on to Virginia Road, while

    southbound traffic is being diverted onto Broadway.

  4. Yes, military officers DO have the right to refuse what they believe to be an unlawful order, but a troop movement is not unlawful! Plus, how much is our Field Artillery actually being used in Iraq? Not much! I agree, he's a disgrace to his uniform and the trust placed in him as a commissioned officer. Guilty to the max, some time in Leavenworth & dishonorable discharge.
