  1. Did you lock out the channel by accadent? If you hit one of the numbers 0-9, you lockout the bank. Somewhere on the screen, you should see what banks are being scanned. If you don't see the bank that your channel is in, hit the bank number key so it shows up on your screen. If you locked out your channel, manually scroll to the channel and make sure it dosent say LO or L/O or something like that. If it is locked out, find the button on your keypad that says LO / L/O to unlock it... Hope this helps.

  2. In my experience there is no reason for you do doubt the accuracy of RadioReference. I am not aware of any major issues with their database. Also, if it still exists there was a simple database of frequencies on EMTBRAVO that would probably give you all the info you are looking for.

I agree with Billy. I am a big time buff, and have had no problem with radioreference. I often double check with other sources to be sure I get what i want, but for the most part, radioreference is a reliable source for me. Nonetheless I have inputed frequencies for firegrounds 1-8 on the google doc.

Let me know if seek more frequency help.

  3. Numerous news sources are reporting that the great actor Ernest Borgnine passed away this afternoon at the age of 95.

While he had other more famous roles, I always remember him as Sheriff "Dirty Lyle" Wallace, the nemesis of Kris Kristofferson's Rubber Duck character in "Convoy".

    Rest in peace, sir.

Don't forget Mermaid Man on Spongebob!!!!

  4. Don't they all do that? Even radio reference splits it. The EMS frequencies on the right are: Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC); North Salem VAC (NSVAC) Westchester Emergency Medical and the frequencies on the left are: WCDES Trunk North Zone; All WCDES Fire and EMS Talkgroups*

    *Pulled from Radioreference.com

Negative. Emergency Radio Free only plays 46.26 (WC60C) out of it's app. Some people like the split audio, but for me, I want to buff 60 Control Fire Dispatch, not North Salem VAC...ECT.

  5. If you want to buff Westchester County (60 Control), the 5-0 app is not that good for it. See on 5-0 Radio, it plays 60 Control out of the left side, and other EMS Frequencies out of the right side. Literally, if you put headphones in, Left - 60 control, Right - Random EMS stuff. A good app I use for 60 Control is called Emergency Radio Free. It also picks up everything on 5-0.
