People should be freely allowed to express themselves and that should never should be infringed on. I have much respect for all firefighters volunteer or paid these are not your average people, they risk their lives to save other people, however I need to know what EMT Bravo is refering to as Monday morning quarterback because that does not make any sense to me. I agree with treating members in this forum with respect because they deserve it.

What was the official cause of the fire. The fire this time was not as bad as the last one they had at the yeshiva

My condolences to the family of P.O. Hennesey my thoughts and prayers are with the family

That is a real blow to the community, I saw the photos of that fire, it really got intense they had to fight it from the outside. It is a shame to lose a landmark like that.

My father knew him well, I cant believe they still have not caught the people responsible for his death lets hope we can bring closure to this because this has been going on too long and it is ashame that justice has not been served. I hope they find the people responsible for this man death.

Congrads to the Katonah fire dept on their new tanker and chief vehicles and Happy New Year to all EmtBravo members and Fire Depts

White Plains has three fire fighters assigned to each rig sometimes four Ladder companies and rescue have a Lt all times on rig. Engine companies can ride without a LT or with one.
-
I thought Hawthorne had a third engine, what do plan to replace the current TL-12 with another a pierce or something different

The traditional red works for me. The black over red is a nice color combination seen on Eng109 and Eng63 and Eng 61 and Tl 2 from Port Chester

I wish to extend my condolences to the Jersey City Police and the families of these officers.

Let us all not jump to a conclusion here. I personally would like to know how all this let up to two people being badly burned. Sleepy Hollow has a good volunteer fire dept, I dont think it is a good idea to slam the dept and its members. My advice to the members of this forum is this Watch your posts about this subject, you have members here who are Sleepy Hollow firefighters who are getting offended by stupid remarks being made about these men. Remember these men are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Support you fellow firefighters, dont jump to a conclusion until you hear all the facts.

Rye has a fire horn it is electronic, Harrison has a horn a diaphone, however it is out of service that why I have not heard it blow at 6pm

Life in prison does not cut for me. This POS should get the death penalty why for killing a cop, you dont do that. Killing anyone is wrong but when you kill a person who puts his life on the every day then the punishment should be death. Rest in peace my condelences go out the family of this officer, this second officer this month killed in the line of duty something has got to change in order to stop this, this cant be happening everyday.

I saw pictures of those two rigs they are nice looking rigs

The Horns are a back up to the pagers and it does not bother me that they go off, they are letting the people know that there is a call. Most volunteers rely on them as well as their pagers. I dont believe the horns are a bad thing, you just have to get used to them because they are not going away. I live near West Harrison and North White Plains and I hear their sirens all the time and that does not bother me at all. Two weeks ago people up in Yorktown got a scare when a siren that was not used in fifteen years started blowing, it blew for fortyfive minutes, that is scary.

Congratulations to all members of the Croton Fire Dept who have been elected officers in the dept I hope 2006 will be a great year for you all

My condolences to the Stewart family. Being a police officer in New York City is very tough job, you face danger everyday being in uniform regardless where ever you are police officer. Officer Stewart was killed by a brutal thug a person who has no regard for human life. Police every where face danger not only in NYC but everywhere, thats why people need to be thankful for them because they put their life on the line for everyone. I am thankful for the police because at least I know they are looking out for the good people and not people who break the law.

That going to hurt, serves him right for doing that. Normal people dont do that.

Those fryers are too dangerous. Oil splattering all over the place can cause serious fires. I saw something yesterday on turkey fryers, I am not going to mess with those things NO WAY not me.

Anyone who offers to kill any american is a piece of garbage, we need to stand up for this country and defend it with pride. Sept 11th was the one of the darkest moments in the usa, I will never forget it. Thanks to the Australian people you guys are great people.

I did not see anything wrong with this picture. It appears that the Ossining Fire Dept did a great job fighting this fire luckly no one got hurt fighting this fire.
