  1. People should be freely allowed to express themselves and that should never should be infringed on. I have much respect for all firefighters volunteer or paid these are not your average people, they risk their lives to save other people, however I need to know what EMT Bravo is refering to as Monday morning quarterback because that does not make any sense to me. I agree with treating members in this forum with respect because they deserve it.

  2. Let us all not jump to a conclusion here. I personally would like to know how all this let up to two people being badly burned. Sleepy Hollow has a good volunteer fire dept, I dont think it is a good idea to slam the dept and its members. My advice to the members of this forum is this Watch your posts about this subject, you have members here who are Sleepy Hollow firefighters who are getting offended by stupid remarks being made about these men. Remember these men are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Support you fellow firefighters, dont jump to a conclusion until you hear all the facts.

  3. Life in prison does not cut for me. This POS should get the death penalty why for killing a cop, you dont do that. Killing anyone is wrong but when you kill a person who puts his life on the every day then the punishment should be death. Rest in peace my condelences go out the family of this officer, this second officer this month killed in the line of duty something has got to change in order to stop this, this cant be happening everyday.

  4. The Horns are a back up to the pagers and it does not bother me that they go off, they are letting the people know that there is a call. Most volunteers rely on them as well as their pagers. I dont believe the horns are a bad thing, you just have to get used to them because they are not going away. I live near West Harrison and North White Plains and I hear their sirens all the time and that does not bother me at all. Two weeks ago people up in Yorktown got a scare when a siren that was not used in fifteen years started blowing, it blew for fortyfive minutes, that is scary.

  5. My condolences to the Stewart family. Being a police officer in New York City is very tough job, you face danger everyday being in uniform regardless where ever you are police officer. Officer Stewart was killed by a brutal thug a person who has no regard for human life. Police every where face danger not only in NYC but everywhere, thats why people need to be thankful for them because they put their life on the line for everyone. I am thankful for the police because at least I know they are looking out for the good people and not people who break the law.
