Rye has a 1929 Seagrave Tractor-Drawn Spring-Action Aerial at the museum. This was the original "Ladder 25" which was replaced in 1955 with a Maxim TDA, the trailer of which we still have today on Ladder 26I take it thats why your "rear end" is 50 years old

I was just curious, how many fire departments in westchester county have donated apparatus to the NYS firefighting museum in hudson, ny? If your department has donated a piece could you please the type/make of the apparatus. I know that Bedford donated their 1968 Maxim S...

I must say that some of the apparatus colors and paint schemes are interesting throughout some of the counties in the lower hudson valley...in westchester the highlighter or neon yellow i.e. hartsdale, yorktown heights and fairview seem to work, or the more subtle yellow of thornwood is nice. The only truly green department that i know of is verplanck up county.

Does anyone know exactly what happened? I was just wondering because as i was passing by in noticed that someone had appeared to be stuck under the front of a truck, but it seemed as if it has been stopped in the middle of the road. Any information would be helpful...

Whats your opinion on the black over red paint scheme? OUr department just recently purchased a seagrave with the black over red paint scheme...the first ever in the department's history i believe...and i must say it does look pretty cool.
