    I have heard the City Of Rye go on atleast 10 calls in the last half hour...Also numerous call for Harrison,Village & Town Mamaroneck,Larchmont. Southern Westchester getting hit pretty hard with these storms once again.

    The reason the Harrison Fire Department got rid of the Jr. Program was because there was a meeting one night that had gotten cancelled and the assistant cheif wasnt told and it messed up his plans, chief is also an adivisor....pretty stupied reason to get rid of them but i guess when your sheduele gets messed up its a "BIG DEAL" since his sheduele got messed up he decicded there should no longer be JRs...if the kids want to help out and do things around the firehouse why get rid of them? Also at working fires who wants to pack hose and at the firehouse who wants to wash the trucks? i think that is why there are Jrs. Interior FF's shouldnt have to pack hose after they come out of a fire all hot and tired. am i right or wrong here

    As of June 17 Harrison has no longer had a Jr. program

    Car 2421 reporting 10-75 on Midland Ave....Harrison Engine 13 VMFD Ladder 21 stand-by for City of Rye..22:04 60 advising Engine 13 to respond Milton Rd and i didn't hear the cross st for wires down..22:13 60 advising Car 2164 Engine 13 has another run in the area of 300 Theo Rd Wires down...22:33Ladder 21 responding 90 Dogwood Ln outside odor of smoke

    Location: Area of Polly Park Rd and Purchase St

    Units Operating: Harrison 2161 2163 2164 E-11 E-13 TL-24 R-19 Mam Vill E-38 Car 2242 Rye FD Harrison/Rye/Rye Brook PD units Con-Ed

    Description Of Incident: Harrison was dispatched to the area of Polly Park Rd and Purchase St for wires on fire, Engine 11 responded. Car 2164 was 1st on the scene and reported primary wires burning also told 60 to be advised Rye FD on scene. Harrison re-tone for a driver for Engine 13. While Engine 11 operated at the scene Engine 38 was requested to stand-by in Harrison Hq...E-38 was then redirected with E-13 TL-24 to 5 Purtian Rd for a reported odor of smoke in the residence.

    All units were clear 21:48...Most of the area had a power outage until power was restored at 23:15..Due to the power coming back on Harrison Fd was toned out for a Res. Alarm on Polly Park Rd 2162 2163 2164 E-11 TL-24 responded.60 control advised Car 2163 alarm was set off due to the power outage 2163 10-20 all units. 2163 cleared all units at 23:20hrs

    Another busy day for Harrison finishing with a total of 6 calls with the first call early this morning being a dumpster fire.

    Harrison Fire Dept also responded to West Harrison to assist. Harrison Car 2164 and Rescue 19 responded with manpower and numerous pumps to assist with hazardous conditions.

    Car 2164 and the Rescue were released from West Harrison at approx. 21:00
