two p.c.p.d post cars hit each other broadside responing to officer in foot pursuit of suspects. one rolled over then it stone wall, other with heavy front end damage both went to WCMC.

firehouse not owned by village anymore. they gave it away about five years ago to G & S who is building complex across street. talk about a restaurant or bar or may be a micro brewery! what ever they do I HOPE THEY SAVE IT.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY AIRPORT IN RYE BROOK MANTAINED DURING THE 50"S AND 60"S A STUZ FROM COS COB AND MACK FROM RYE CITY. THEY WERE REPLACED IN THE EARLY 70"S BY AIR GUARD EQ. AND A INTERNATIONAL FOAM UNIT.THE BASE STA. RAIDO WAS FROM PORT CHESTER AND STILL HAD KEF 213 PORT CHESTER ON IT!

Old Tower Ladder 9 was bought from a mack dealer from Queens.
It was orginaly lime green. It was ordered for FDNY but they didnt
take delivery. The sales man from KME bought it and sold it to MVFD.

GOT TO DRIVE MOST OF THE CONTINENTIAL COMPAC RIGS IN PORT CHESTER ON THE WAY TO YONKERS. PORT CHESTER WAS REPLACING THERE B MODEL MACK ENG 62 AT THAT TIME. NO WATER AND NO HOSE OR EQMENT. VERY LIGHT IN FRONTEND, POOR WELDING AND SLOPPY WORKMENSHIP REAL CLASS A JUNK! WE REPLACED THE B WITH A CF MACK THAT IS STILL IN USE.

THE NAME OF MACK DEALER IN WESTCHESTER WAS CARL TOGIE. AND HE WAS A REAL WEASEL. 1960"S TO EARLY 8O'S IF ANY ONE IS LOOKING FOR A OLD MACK FROM THAT TIME FRAME THAT WAS TRADED IN ON NEW RIGS HE WAS THE ONE THAT STOLE THEM! I MEAN TRADED THEM IN.

PORT CHESTER USED MT KISCO E103 FOR ABOUT A YEAR IN 1994 WHEN 1981 E ONE BLEW UP FOR THE LAST TIME. IT RAN AS E 59 UNTIL IT BROADSIDED A BLAZER GOING TO A HURST TOOL CALL. WHAT A MESS! THE OLD MACK WAS IN SHOCK IN P.C. IT WENT TO MORE CALLS IN ONE YEAR THAN 20 YEARS IN MT KISCO.

HASTING TILLER FROM 1981 TILL THEY GOT NEW RIG IN 1985 USED THE REAR OF LAD 31 FROM PORT CHESTER. THEY HAD SPENT17,000 DOLLERS ON IT IN PORT CHESTER BEFORE THEY REPLACED IT IN 81

PCFD RESCUE 40 HAS TWIN WILBERT 6000 WATT LIGHT TOWERS. THEY ARE 28 FEET ABOVE GROUND WHEN RAISED.
