    0619 Car 2512 on scene fire rolling out window's. Eng.67,TL-6 added to alarm.L-34,Eng 71 relocated to Sta.6.

    0620 500' 1-3/4 line stretched to fire apt.R-88 search of apt (-). L-32 opening up. Eng 67 will stand by as MRT. Reports from companies is heavy fire in Apt.2 M.2 occupants from Bldg to WP Hosp. via Metro care Amb 1. PD units on scene,ESU truck 1 and mutiple cars on scene. FD fire investigators will conduct investigation to determine cause.

I don't think that anybody who was down there that day,would need to go see the movie.One look at all that wreckage,and it was instantly etched in our mind's forever,and NO movie company could reproduce that,or any of the image's we saw those week's afterward's.They won't be getting my $10:00

    Description Of Incident: Motorcycle accident eastbound I-287.Victim DOA.I-287 shut down at exit 5 Traffic diverted off at exit 6. Engine 66 will remain on scene for accident investigation.Rescue 88 will pick up.

  5. I don't think taking a single truck to a parade, when you have plenty of other trucks to protect your district, is a big deal at all. Especially if it's only for a few hours.

    That being said, I agree that once that truck leaves the district, it should be OOS. Responding from the parade, especially from within the line of march, just doesn't make sense (not to mention can be disruptive and dangerous). If your dept is that desperate for the truck to respond, then you probably shouldn't even be at the parade in the first place.

    i don't mean to get off the topic at hand here, and I'll probablly catch holy hell from alot of you men/ women out there, but with this topic moving toward's the area of responding,I could never understand why I see so many "Fire Chief's" car's from towns/village's so far out of their district it boggles the mind.Do they think they are going to go screamming through other cities and put alot of people at risk so they can haul a** 50 miles to get to their dept. If you feel you must get to a job,stay in your area, or pass the position to someone who lives or works in your area.The tax payers own those"Chief's car's" not the driver's.My 2 cent's
