Somebody told me recently that the Lifeguard medics have the ability to rapel out of the Aircraft for missions. I smell BS. Anyone care to prove/debunk?I'm not exactally sure about 'repelling' out of the Life Guard ships but I kno the Life Guards out of Stewart do lower the medics with the baskets, I've seen it done.

Fire Expo 2006 is held by the Lancaster County Firemans Assoc.
Dates: May 19, 20 , & 21
Where: Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA
Tickets: $7.00-Adults Free-Under 9
It's about 3 1/2 hrs. from my house in Orange Co. we go I-84W to I-81S to US-22E
I've been going down for about 5 years now, great show by far better than Nassau, and i feel alot better than NYS Chiefs Show. My Dept. has about 6 guys going down tommarrow in the van. Every year i go down on saturday with about 15 guys from my department and quite a few from others, my battalion charters a bus or two, usually a pretty big event. I feel it's deffinatly worth the drive, but what do i know i sleep on the bus mostly.

I have a Mac, so I can't enjoy most of Oradell's little features there. Damn Windows files! However, while they put on a show every time out, I don't know if they'll ever top what they did in Wallington. The stuff was waist deep.....on grown men!*photo courtesy of www.oradellfire.org

WOW thats kinda werd cuz Lake George Fire House is loacted like a block or two north of that location. This scene is loacted at the end of the Lake George "Strip" which is kinda lucky cuz it could really only spread one way. If anyone knows about fire departments in upstate New York that the next town over Queensbury was debating wethier to buy a new tower ladder truck becasue the only time they used it was for when a ride stopped at Great Escape amusement park. I guess if they got the new truck it paid off i guess. If anyone has anymore info about this incident or anyone who knows about how fire departments up there near Lake George work or just general info please pm becasue i work all during the summer up ther next to Lake George and always vist those stores.Queensbury didn't get a new tower in some of the pictures u can see their Mack/Aerialscope tower.
I remember goin in 2 the Wizards Den last yr when we were up for the HVVFA parade, its a "tobacco" paraphanalia shop and the people behind the counter were def. still feelin the 70's.

Just one correction: New Windsor VAC uses Regional EMS as their ALS provider and they provide BLS backup if NWVAC needs additional resources. My bad trauma, I was under the impression that they came back ALS n 171 was a medic.
