  1. This seems very vauge. It does not seem to specify how long you should have volunteered, are you active or were you active in the past, etc, etc, etc... If it follows the lead of most other Assembly/Senate bills, it won't go anywhere. It will just be reintroduced year after year.

  3. I spent all of last week at a Course in Baltimore, MD., which included several (15-20 or so) DC EMS Paramedics and Fire/Medics. Keeping in mind I was only getting one side of the story, but if much of what they said was true, it seems like DC FD/EMS is currently in a sad state of affairs, in terms of labor/management and they have a ton of issues to work through. Hopefully some strides can be made so that better working conditions exist for them.
  4. As for Westchester Medical Center and Hudson Valley Hospital Center, no Fire Department response normally. Obvious exceptions for aircraft in any kind of distress.

After Troopers returned to vehicle to check operators status, subject took off, leading SP Unit (3K58) on pursuit last approximately three minutes. Subject vehicle ended on Terrich Place, then a foot pursuit ensued. The subject was taken into custody, resulting in minor injuries to two Troopers. Driver charged with DWI, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Resisting Arrest, Felony AUO, Possesion of Drug Paraphanilia, Criminal Mischief, Assault on a Police Officer (x2).
