ossining got best overall and most men in line and 3 for their band as well as something for ladder41 i believe
tarrytown got 1 for eng 80 adsley got best combo for ladder50 montrose got best non requlation uniform i believe and katoah got at least 2 trophys

i just found out that my pro 97 scanner was not recieveing because of a defect with the antenna part of the unit its in for repair aparently around the country they have had prolems with this its still under warranty i hope i will find out

the lake mohegan (water ) is in the town of yorktown as is fd hq

no danny is not chief any more but he is active as a volunteer again he still lives up in glenville on king street some were
he retired from being chief but now works elsewere in greenwich town

just wanted to tell you about wc-tlc its run though the county police and its to help drivers from westchester at the airport at westchester and ofset the cost of nyc tlc there was a big fight with nyc a few years back about westchester drivewrs getting tlc tags to drive in nyc so westchester had to do something they do not set fares or such local towns and villages and cities do that

I agree. The walkout is disgusting and selfish. Do the volunteers really care about the community they serve, or their power and egos? Is it the loss of power that is the problem? Why is this bad?Wouldn't staying on, seeing how things work, and trying to reach a comfortable comprimise be a better and more rational solution?
I've heard some are using the old copout "union vs. volunteer", and that's just plain ridiculous. How are they demoralized? Don't they have career firefighters? Shouldn't professional firefighters have professional leadership? (Professional as meaning your occupation)
BTW, isn't Larchmont a wealthy community, filled with very significant and valuable hazards?
oh boy does this all sound like rye brook rural metro all over again or what

i was only reporting on what mamaro told me that the space was offered to them what is going to happen now ma be has changed i do know they were looking at station 4 but its tight there but right now 41 is out and 39 is taking its place sorry if i got my imfo wrong

well it seems to have been done the larchmont village names a paid fire chief at the board meeting tonite 5-16-07
will take effect after the holiday

If I remember correctly, I've seen E40 Stationed with E41, and L21 stationed with E42. I could be wrong, but I think that's what I saw the last time I drove by those houses.you got it right e-40 and 41 are at columbia on n barry ave
and e 42 and L 21 are at volunteers on mamaroneck ave
mamaro is coming down and a new 4 bay bldg is going up for hook and ladder and mamaro
eng.39 when not in use will saty at larchmont hq untill further notice

nice rig banksville good luck i was at the firehouse expo and saw pictures of this engine glad its finally here
tmfd is getting one also to replace eng 51 by dec hopefully
