  5. Just wanted to say "good job" everyone that operated and helped us out, as well as the mutual aid coverage from BHFD back at the house.

HAAAHHH! you only liked that because you got to respond with us on the 3 runs we got!...and yes graham, you were right about the auto alarm  ...lolol ;)

Anyways, yeah it was a good job, after BPD found the exact location and had a visual on the victims , everything fell into place. Nice work everyone by all.

  6. greenwich also went......

myself with bedford hills engine 198 went to stand by in BVFD. while there, we got 3 runs. within around 2 mins of getting to BVFD, we were paged out for a chiminy fire which ended up being a oil burner back fire. around 4 mins after that, an MVA, and 15 to 20 mins after that, an auto alarm. been a busy day for the crews in the town of bedford. also, on the diver opperation, they had a bird with the infra-red going to see if they could see anything. after they sweep the pond with the bird, they will put divers back into the water.

  8. well i guess its better then people burning flags. We had a whole long talk about that in History class. people go and say its their right to burn the flag or in your case, right to display it how they want but i always tell them, that flag represents your country and your rights, we fought for freedom from england and came up with the american flag later on, so doesnt that flag represent your rights as a citizen also?....so your burning/disrespecting your rights....right? lol

  9. 18% Tip included....f**k that!  Who the hell are they to tell you how much to tip.  I hate it when I see that.  What if the waiter was a jerk or if the food sucked?  Wasn't there a court case somewhere upstate that said the patron doesn't have to pay the tip if they don't want to?  Damn now I'm hungry...does this place deliver?

    Sorry for the rant.

it sounds exactly like the people i deal with in cross river.....yeah, snoby....so if you want just a burger, i'm guessing you have to be a member and to make it good, why not go for some of those greens things...what ever they are :P haha...so saying that you want just that burger, you are going 40000+3600+124.50 and add about ...we'll say around 200 for gas going down and back....if i am adding right, i think that is $43924.50 for a burger.

  10. Chris, they actualy do have one i believe. its an engine, im just not sure yet which one. I thought i was 24 or somthing. I know Code 3 made a model after it. Ill check on that but i know they do/did in the past few years.

I know they did use a hand full of AFLs back in the day. The Super Tower, 14 truck was an AFL along with a few engines they had. Looking at pictures, it seems like the FDNY had a lot of AFLs in the past.

while on the subject, anyone know anything about 63 engine and how it was once an international? http://www.worldfiredepartments.com/Fdny1/E63.htm odd looking truck huh?

  11. I LOVE IT....Im so glad they cleaned it up slightly so it doesn't make all of us out to be a** holes. This season is looking pritty funny. O, and the dog trailer was LOL funny. Love when they are all in the street and no one wants to go near the dog and the little girl walks up and pets it. Then they all start throwing up. gonna be a good season!
