  13. New Jersey State Trooper Marc Castellano of Howell Township, NJ was struck by a motor vehicle while searching for two armed suspects on I-195 in Howell Township. Castellano is a 1998 graduate of Jackson Memorial High School and won the Jackson Township PBA Scholarship that year. He joined the New Jersey State Police in 2004. Using All-Hands, Div. 3 rpts it appears ATT that a large window from the penthouse level fell and struck several floors below, knocking out multiple windows. No gas readings ATT and no confirmed jumpers.

A NJ State Tropper who was in foot pursuit was struck by a vehicle and reportedly has life-threatening injuries. One suspect located with the second still at large. Numerous M/A agencies and NJSP tactical teams on scene. Search included Allaire State Park.   23. In an overtime cutting proposal, expected to pass the county board shortly, Clark County Fire will no longer staff Heavy Rescue, Air Unit, Haz Mat, and (1) Tanker. These units will be driven out, when needed, by other station personnel. Some other areas will also see split coverage with LVFRD and North Las Vegas. The department is also eliminating positions within the department and sending the firefighters and officers back to the line.
