why go outside of the us? Hosting the game in a US city does great things for the economy. Aren't we trying to get away from outsourcing?

AH Geez, That thing makes Squadzilla look small!!!!!Nice looking trucl!!!
Our streets are about twice as wide as anything up north I think Orange County's (Florida) rescues are bigger. They have 4 heavy rescues that also pump

Im guessing the guy in the getaway car(if there was one) saw the guys peeking in the window and could have easily have shot them as well. They may have stayed longer if they didnt notice the barbers giving the police time to respond. Im sure no one cries bank robber too much and if the cops did come on a false alarm they would be too angry

Doc, you must have turned it off before Colorado came back in the bottom of the 13th. 9-8 Rockies. That was a horrible safe call

+1 on the toughbooks they are touch screen too our department uses them for their medical information on the ambulances and can even get a signature through the screen and out of 8 we have had one yet to break after over a year.

the best is when the guy yelled "Cover me! im going in for the truck" like it was a shoot out and he needed cover fire....haha

so departments have 60 days from Aug 1st to get the equipment. Does it mean every member or just for the on duty crew? as in they will keep them in the truck?

The public doesnt look at firefighters and poilce the same....fire figheters only come to help. People usually think police are associated with bad things like tickets. dont mix the two then all public safety workers will be hated.....

I saw this on TV last night. The department's argument was that most of their extrication and MVA runs are on I-95 and the people on that road are passing through and dont pay taxes to that city. I can understand where they are coming from but why should you only be covered in the fire district you reside? They said that your insurance company would foot the bill and they don't expect premiums to go up but i'm not quite sure I believe that.
