I don't know. As a police, fire, and ems dispatcher I think I would have used some discretion and sent at least the police to investigate. This was an apparent blatant act of negligence on the part of the hospital right in front of the public's eyes.

Thats right, they are still fighting for liberty. Let us all hope it does not just end.

I just don't think we can stop at being thankful. We need to help our brethren in Venezuela, in even just words. We need to stand shoulder to shoulder in Solidarity for a true liberal democracy. This is Korea in the 50's, Berlin in the 60's, Poland in the 70's, and Tiannamen Square in the 80's. We learned from the beginning of World War 2 appeasement does not work. We must rout out these outposts of despotism. We must always be on the offensive in our hearts, minds, and words as much as our actions. These people in this South American nation are yearning for liberty, yearning for a small drop of what we, in the Free World, have. Write a letter, post a blog, speak up, and you will see that no matter how tough a military is, or a king or tyrant may think he is powerful, no measure of oppression can ever destroy that lasting need for freedom from fear.

Over hear in Putnam we have all FD/PD/EMS combined communications and all 911 calls go hear. But the FD's do have emergency 7 digit lines that are also routed to go straight to our phone Alarm line as well. So except for people who call Carmel, Kent, the Sheriffs Office, or Sp directly, everything comes to us.
And as for cell 911, it works great here(probably because we are a small county) and the GPS has worked amazing sometimes providing with great information. Only bad thing since we got it is that we get Every 911 call about an accident on 84 when we would just get the initial call from SP.

I don't know about Texas State Law, but under Federal Law and the Federal Constitution, you can't deny the press any photos they wish to take, whether you are police or not. You can politely ask for the press not to do so, but any intimidation by P.D., I would believe is a violation of law in itself.
And bottom line anyways, even if this photographer were to be convicted in trial, that conviction would surely not hold up in appeals.

Who we need is a statesman, a man that has style and substance when he speaks to us! We need Senator Fred Thompson!

Just to correct the heading of this topic, it occurred in the Putnam Valley(Putnam County) side of Lake Peekskill.

I got my CFR at 16, that was way better than when I became an EMT three years later. Got to have all the fun, and do almost everything, but no paperwork to do.
Alas I had to become an EMT for money's sake.
-
Why would they ever do this?
-
I believe this was the case in which 2 firefighters ( those named above) alledgely poured old oil into a sewer at the firehouse and the fumes caused an explosion and hurt a worker down the street.
-
No worries to those who do, all 911 calls for help in Putnam County have been and will be handled and dispatched entirely from the Bureau of Emergency Services and with the professional staff that is employed there(hehe).
Don't worry will take it and keep it from here.
