Rescue 5 at least! Thanks Chris! She is a beauty!
-Joe DA BUFF, who saw her in one of his books on Rescues!

Again, NICE SHOTS Chris! Thanks for sharing, especially the tillers and the Dodge Van Rescue! That ALF rehab, there's gotta be a story behind that, no? That snorkel is pretty sweet too. Thanks for sharing!
-Joe DA BUFF, who is watching Protection from the Past and LOVIN' EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

That rig has a near twin in Elizabeth (but available to all of Union County), a rig carrying 12 inch hose and another thousand odd gallons of Foam! I guess the Ports justify these rigs! THanks for sharing the photos!

Now there's something you don't see everyday... Fire Chief's Car becomes a Police Car! Usually it's the other way around.
I didn't even realize Village of Brewster had a P.D..... Is it new or something?
-Joe DA BUFF, who remembers reading about how Mineola almost established a P.D. in '05!

One of these days this would happen. There are more important things than property development and building McMansions for reach cheese-eaters. I wonder what happens in communities without Tankers. Ah well.

Once more.... (because I have miles to drive to get there and ideally will be meeting someone), it will be 1900? Oh and is the route still along 133? Thanks!
-Joe DA BUFF, who appreciates everyone answering his repeated inquires!

Nice photos all around! Thanks for sharing, there were some rigs I had never seen before, like Pawling or 11-4-2! Nice rig!!!! Thanks again!

One word for that rig: IMPRESSIVE.
I hope she shines on in your collection for years to come! Absolutely outstanding and beautiful!

As I said on my away message, David Chase obviously didn't see the original ending to Star Trek:Generations. That in and of itself is a story. But I won't tell it here. Too bad about the ending. Oh well.

Ugh. Another FDNY release. What a surprise. :angry:The good news for collectors is that soon ALL Code 3's will be highly collectible. This product line will most likely be disappearing in the near future because of what I percieve to be widespread declining interest by collectors in Code 3's monotonous line up (FDNY) and their failure to deliver on some other lines.
Sorry, but I don't believe that there are enough FDNY fanatics to keep things going. If Code 3 doesn't freshen it up
or at least deliver on some previously promised models (900 TDA's), they are doomed, and deservedly so. JMO.
That's exactly what a Die-Cast dealer said to me the other day. About Code 3 getting stale. Shame, soon there'll be no top quality 1/64 diecast out there. I have to say, I won't be too worried about Code 3 going under. The rigs were crazily expensive, and to an extent you got your money's worth. But, they didn't branch out enough. Ah well. Just my two cents.
-Joe DA BUFF, who's happy with his collection, but, wouldn't have minded adding a Light Rescue and a Brush Truck. Ah well.
P.S. Stepjam- Well done with your CDF Kitbash. I woulda posted in the original topic, but it was closed. I was very impressed.

Great shots of Rescue 4 Chris! Thanks for sharing. That has got to be a "Collectible" shot of Rescue 1 in front of the old quarters. As always, thanks!
