Will it carry any extra equiptment besides that of a standard engine company, being that it's a similiar layout like 22. (not including the geriatric equiptment )

"You think about Knight Rider and all these fictional characters," said William Santana Li, chairman and CEO of the Atlanta-based Carbon Motors Corporation. "This car is actually real."

A prototype model of the E7 is on a nine-city U.S. tour, as Carbon Motors executives market the car to law enforcement officials and municipal fleet managers.

I remember way back when the code enforcment cars were all white with the dark blue stripe, just like the lettering.

Does any one know what ANSI / ISEA rating our current bunker gear has, or what would it take to make it compliant? 90% of our gear today contains scotchlite trim, the same as the vests. Would adding 2 more stripe to the coat or arms make it compliant? I know in Putnam County, Brewster Fire Department is always on I-84 or I-684, on their newer gear they have added a 3” wide full length Triple trip stripe on the legs of their bunker gear for added visibility. Maybe if we make our gear to meet the ANSI / ISEA standards, we would not have to worry about donning the vests while only operating on the” right-of-way of a Federal-aid highway who are exposed either to traffic”, we would be protected all the time. We are supposed to be wearing out proper PPE on all calls aren’t we?

The faces change the name changes. They fire everybody and move in inexperienced people who will work for less just to be called Captain. Nothing will change. Everybody will know it is just Empire by another name.

Changing the name is just like putting Vinyl siding on a 100 year old house, It may look good from the outside but its just covering up all the problems on the inside.
