I recently purchased and programmed the uniden bct 15x withe the westchetser uhf trunked system. The issue I am have is that I did not program the county transit talk groups into it allthough I seem to be picking it up anyway but instead of seeing a talk group name an id number pops up on the display the id number is 21232 how do I get totally rid of this so I do not have to listen to this

I have been hearing alot of transmissions on 46.26 coming from washington county fire control which is also on 46.26 are they transmitting at a high power then they used to or is there another possible reason for the jumping

I've looked though it just was wondering if there are some depts that are not covered on that an example is sleep hollow fd have not heard them dispatched on 46.26 ,33.96 or 46.06

just curious as to what brand of radios are prefered for personal and or dept use and why?

About 30 minutes ago I was listening to 4626 Ossining had just finished transmitting a dept message when some jerk decided he was going to be funny and said s*** the f word up lol. I bring this up 1 because it's totally unprofessional and 2 was wondering if there's a way to trace where the transmission came from
