All I'am saying is if you can pay for a police & fire dept why cant you pay for a ambulance? It's nice to have all the first responders show up but the bottom line is you need a ambulance to transport

This is get to be the worst sytem I know of, Bottom line is that the people of pelham still have to wait for an ambulance. Wouldn't it make more sense to put a ALS ambulance there. How come one of the wealthest village in Westchester can't pay for an ambulance when they pay for a Fire Dept that hardly does any work. I guess EMS isn't that important!

EMS does not they firefighter's how to put out fires and we sure dont tell PD how to arrest people so let US do OUR job!

Again why are PD and FD making the decisions ? EMS should my the decision if the HELO is needed. with that type of injury chances are they are going to a local hospital anyway. Alo the time they land that thing from where they were they could be at jacobi already.

STAT flight was going to land @ YPD HQ but was cancelled by an ER doctor over @ St Joes I think the child was in trauma arrest but not sure

Yes we do, we run 4 BLS and 1 ALS, 15a, 15c, 15e, 27a, & 15v

They have a contract with OLM private doctors office to do so called private emg. from doctors office to OLM ER. We the real OLM EMS had this contract but it Sucked so the department gave it up and life line took it. It's a BLS truck and if they need the Para Gods they call 911 like the rest do in the city. In terms of them using OLM EMS on the side of the bus, its going to take 1 accident for the hospital to have them take it off.
