    Anyone on here on operated at this incident? From the video it seems like the Engine took a while to get water flowing. Did the crew start patient care? How long did it actually take to get water on the fire? The video wasn't so great and seemed to skip through time.

    They got water reel quick the pump opp. after he got water went over and started to cut. The diver of the truck got out on his own he was just walking around. dazed and confused.I was on the second Amb. in we took the driver of the car.

    Yes they have a crash truck, I Believe is stored in the next building over from the fire don't know about a fire brigade. I do know that the truck Co. goes and gets the crash truck if there is an airplane emergency.

    i know it's a GMC With a rescue body, pump, 50 to 100 Gal. of foam And some PPK and a full set of Hurst tools may be DFD801 could find a pic. It use to be Engine 26

    I was on I84W in Brewster NY. On the way to our Brewster store listing to Dee Snider on the old 104.1. I thought he was joking about what was happening. Then the other plain hit. the other truck on the road called our main store an the 2-way radio and asked if we were under attack. we made it to the Brewster store. I rushed in to watch the T.V. Just in Time to watch the replay of the second plain. and the collapse. I called my capt. to see if Chris Blackwell was working and if our friend Rod that was a pilot for AA was working. Chris was working Res3cue. And Rod was not . Then When to the F.D. and tried to got a crew together and go down to NY. When the Chief told us if FDNY needed us they will call for us.

    volunteer department that doesn't seem to have a system in place to respond together. For example, if I was a member of 14's (King Street) I would not be able to respond with Engine 8's if I was in that side of the city.

    This is not true If you are a green tagged Firefighter. You can go help any other Eng.co as long as you have your gear and tags. we are all trained by the city's training officer, And when we train we train together. I have Responded with Eng.9 and Eng 10 And I'm a member of Eng. 5.
