Tarrytown Parade Cancelled?

I heard a rumor that the annual Tarrytown Mardi Gras and Fire Parade was cancelled this year via a letter sent out to all departments, due to lack of response to inviations.

Any truth?

This is true....no rumor...we recieved a letter from Tarrytown stating exactly what you did...cancelled due to lack of responses

They are supposed to be meeting tonight or tomorrow to make that decesion. They only have 6 responses i believe. That is what we heard in Sleepy Hollow!

Six responses that is terrible. The last parade I went to in Tarrytown was two years ago. I would hope more departments would respond because that is usually a good parade it was when I went.
