Description Of Incident: Received as an automatic alarm, 2442 on scene reporting smoke showing. Working fire in Kitchen of Deli (center occupant of 3 stores in a commercial building).

Forced Entry through front door, fire located in rear of structure, stretched lines and opened up rear door. Negative extensions to other occupancies or roof.

Quick entry and knock-down using 2" handline with smooth bore nozzle!

Bummer, I spent a LOT of time in that deli when I would visit my mom. And I think my cousin worked there at one time or another. Luckily, it's right down the block from the Somers house and it wasn't at 2 in the morning or it woulda been much worse.
