I swear I heard something about Stat-Flight.....

Am I hearing things?

I thought i heard the term "STAT Flight" used as well....the only thing I can think of is maybe the question was asked about using it due to the location and lack of access to the patient???? :-k

News to me.... I was there but no bird, just boats!

Problem is, STATFlight would need to land somewhere an d there aren't too many choices in that area aside from the train tracks. And if I recall the last time we landed the bird on the Tracks, the pilot freaked because he heard a train comming. :oops:

Better choice would be a Coast Guard helo. They generally have basket rescue/harness rescue capabilities and usually have a medic on board as well.
