Yonkers -2nd Alarm- 8/28/04

Times: Time Dispatched- 17:15hrs

Location: 337 Saw Mill River Rd

Frequency 46.50, 484.7125

Units Operating: 2nd alarm... Eng 311 Fast..Rescue 1 responded delayed approx 1735hrs was out on another run..

Description: heavy fire top floor 2nd alarm upon arrival . 3 lines stretched as of 17:30hrs heavy fire top floor of 100x100 commercial building.. 17:40 hrs engines 308, 303 and ladder 70 ran a auto alarm on Executive Blvd...... L-70 then ordered to relocate to Station 12..

I was on scene, and looked like a GREAT stop by the YFD. It was a kitchen fire with extension to the walls, the ducts, which vented through the roof. Ladder 72, and 74 were both up and protecting exposures 2 and 4. TL-75 Looked like it went up for a little bit, but it was not up when I was there. Also a quick note, the new MSU looked great with all the rest of the apparatus...but lets face it, that thing is in for a bumpy ride.

I took some pics and sent them into EMTBRAVO

I like the one with the supply line on the roof of the car, blocking the hydrant...I guess they were nice and didn't go through the windows...
