ATTENTION ALL AREA FIRE DEPARTMENTS

CT FIREFIGHTER II CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITY

DATES: February 26, 2007 (may be pushed back one week)

WHEN: Mondays and Wednesdays and every other weekend

TIME: 7:00 pm on weekdays and 8:30 am on weekends

WHERE: New Canaan Fire Company # 1

60 Main Street

New Canaan, CT 06840

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR: Gary Baker, Bridgeport Fire Department

Prerequisite: CT FF1 or approved equivalent

Requirements:

*Must be a member of a career or volunteer department

*Must be 18 years or older

*Full PPE, SCBA and 1 Spare bottle

*IFSTA Essentials Manual, 4th Edition

R.S.V.P. by by 2/20/2007

I would imagine so, it is IFSTA/Proboard cert ...

but the only way for you to find out is to call the state fire acadamy and see if they grant reciprocity. from new york certs to connecticut.
