Description Of Incident: Carjacking with shots fired

Carjacking occurred. Taken was a 2006 Range Rover color Gray. Within is a 9mm handgun...suspect also has a handgun. Vehicle fled EB and entered Saw Mill River Pkwy SB at the Putnam Ave (Mclean Ave) entrance.

Units securing crime scene...traffic posts established...2nd pct assisting.

Vehicle taken reportedly has bullet holes in the rear of the SUV

Suspect reportedly displayed gun but did not fire...victim fired the shots at fleeing vehicle...preliminary reports only!
