Your responses reflect no facts and you are not familiar with this situation one single bit.

I wouldn't expect somone who hears about a storm coming and posts,"overtime for me!" to look at this matter objectivly

and as for my comment "overtime" after going back and reading the rest of the post there were others that said the same thing. plus what are you following my every move and here?

So you would rather have taxpayers money go to guys sitting around doing nothing?  I would give them credit for wanting to get out there and be useful to the community they serve

Why not keep the taxes lower and save the residents money by either

A) not going paid

or

(edit for unintended smilie) B ) not running on EMS calls

or

C) only send 1 engine, like any other medical fire department in the country.

That makes more sense then charging an excess amount of money to the tax payers and saying "Hey, look at all this money, why not just burn it by over crowding an EMS call and driving around the streets for fun?"
