Croton Falls/Somers Brush Fire

Can anyone give an update of the situation up in Croton Falls? I know they were toned out earlier in the day for a brush fire IAO the train station, and was then reported to be off of I-684. Then reported to be accessed by a cul-de-sac by 2073, 148 and Somers/Croton Falls mini attacks...and now they called for the County Gators. How big is the area of brush?

ok it is behind my house between Lake Purdys and Resevoir where high tension wires go thru no access from back here so they have to go in from 116 about 1 mile in at least a 100 x 100 area.

probably much bigger by know both brush trucks in as far as they could go its pretty windy as well

It was on a sloped area off of Route 116 about a mile into the woods so access was via ATV only. Somers FD and CFFD had pretty much knocked it down by the time we (GBFD) were on scene. I would guess it was an area of about 200x200 on a very steep slope next to the resevoir. My understanding is that is was visible from 684 near the Purdy's exit.

They cancelled the County's gators while they were enroute.
