Question, Are you getting roll-up doors or regular doors for the compartments?

The rig is going to have regular compartment doors I believe. It is due to be delivered sometime around the end of the month.

Our maintenance division is not in favor of roll-up doors. I personally think that they would look nice on the engine, but they do get gunked up in the wintertime. By the way, they don't approve of brushed aluminum rims either...I have been down that road with them on that issue too...

The short of it is that they do an awesome job for us, so we just don't sweat the small stuff.

Forever a whacker...

I heard a mention of possibly red reflexite on the red paint, and there also was talk of a black reflexite. I will check with the committee and report back.

Yes, It is a Spartan Metrostar Chassis and a Marion Rescue Body with a Hale 1500 GPM Single Stage Pump, 750 Gal. Booster Tank.

It will have a hydraulic tool compliment due to it's first due responses to the Merritt Parkway

I received word that the stripe will be white reflexite on the red paint. The writing and trim is going to be done in gold leaf. I also heard word from our mechanic that delivery is now scheduled for late August. This is about 2 months later than originally promised and the rig that it is replacing is very "tired".

I expect to post some recently updated shots soon.
